Micah and his team first painted our house, a 1930’s Queenslander, in 2003 when we renovated. He did the both the inside and outside of our brand new ground floor and the outside of the existing building. The finished product was so good that there was never any doubt Micah was going to be my first choice when it was time to do the whole place again this year, 16 years later.

Nonetheless, I sought other quotes, just for peace of mind, but I needn’t have worried, because Micah’s pricing was extremely competitive. But far more importantly, when Micah came to quote, he listened carefully to what we wanted to have done, rather than tell us what he would do – so reassuring.

Getting the whole of the inside of the house painted in one go, is a significant upheaval for a family, in terms of moving furniture, curtains down, pictures off walls etc. To further complicate matters, we were going to be away on holiday for several weeks of the period that Micah was available to do the job.

Completely undaunted, Micah planned his work to minimise disruptions to our family whilst we were still living in the house, fitting in around our needs and then, incredibly, he and his wife, Krista, undertook to do virtually all of the furniture moving after we had left for our holiday! Consequently, when we returned and the whole job was finished, virtually everything was back where it belonged! It felt almost as if someone had simply waved a magic wand and just painted the place! For us, it was so easy.

Just as I had known it would be, the quality of the finished product is top class. I cannot stand poor workmanship (especially if I’m paying for it!) and so I looked very carefully at everything Micah had done. I was delighted that every edge between every wall and ceiling, was beautifully cut in, as it was around every pane of glass in every window. Very pleased indeed.

We are so glad that we found Micah again after so long and I have absolutely no reservation in recommending him – we love our ‘new’ home.
